It is situated on the Western Ghats of Karnataka. The lush green valleys, the coffee plantation, the scenic beauty, teak wood plantation attracts the tourist to this place. Madikeri:
The capital city of Coorg has attracted a large number of travelers by its cool climate, lush forests and coffee plantation. The scenic beauty of nature adds to the beauty of Madikeri. It is the world record holder for the cardamom plantation which is done here.

Omkareshwara Temple:
The catholic mixture of Kerala, Islamic and Gothic architectural style temple is at the midst of the lake with minarets at each corner. This temple is dedicated to lord Shiva and was built in the year 1820.

Bhagamandala:
The Bhangandeshwara temple which is situated at the convergence of river Cauvery, the temple is in built in the typical Kerala style. As the three rivers meet here it is also called as the Triveni Sangam which is one of the holy places according to the Hindus. It is said that all sins will be washed away and one can revive sagging spirits by taking a dip with the prior permission at the temple.

Talacauvery:
The name actually means head of Cauvery.  It is considered to be the origin of one of the seven sacred rivers. The river passes through two states and is on the top of the hill called Brahmagiri. This peak is approximately 1500 mts high and one can get a beautiful view from this point.

Nagarhole National Park:
It is one of the best wildlife sanctuaries in South India. It was earlier a raja’s hunting place which is now changed to be a wildlife sanctuary. The jungle safari is the best way to explore this sanctuary. One can get the view of the wild elephants, tigers, panthers, gaur, deer, wild dogs, etc. It is one of the major tourist destinations.
