North India Hill Station Tour

Day 01 – Delhi
Welcome on board  at the Delhi airport/railway station you will be escorted by our tour representative and transfer to hotel . Delhi the capital and the third largest, state of India. The city stands at the west bank of the Yamuna River at the narrowest point between the Aravali hills and the Himalayas. This bustling city has a blend of the old and the new, the oriental and the western, the quiet and the congested. ‘Delhi’ the name brings the images of not just a city, it also spells splendour. It is a place where history is elegantly preserved by modernity. later on move out for the local tour. Delhi consists of two parts mainly Old Delhi and New Delhi. Visit the most interesting places like the Red Fort – Shah Jahan’s elegant citadel constructed of red sandstone, Lahori Gate – the main gate to the fort facing towards Lahore, Jama Masjid – the largest mosque in India, India Gate – a war memorial, Lakshmi Narayana Temple, Connaught Palace – the business and tourist center, Jantar Mantar, Rashtrapati Bhavan – official resident of the President of India, National Museum, Qutab Minar complex, etc. Later in the evening return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 02 Delhi – Nainital:
Morning after breakfast, drive to Nainital popularly called as the Switzerland of Asia. The city is named after the Naina Lake, on the shores of which stands the temple of the goddess Naini Devi, the presiding deity of the area. The city was discovered by the Britisher by name Barrow. Nainital is one of the famous hill stations in Uttranchal. The emerald waters of the lake are a great source of joy for boating, swimming and yachting. On reaching Nainital check in hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 03 Nainital:
Morning after breakfast, drive out for the local tour of Nainital. Visit the snow view, Naina peak – the highest peak bordering the lake, Land’s end, Dorothy’s Seat, Hanuman Garhi, State Observatory, The Mall, Bhim Tal – the largest lake, Nainital zoo, etc. Later on return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 04 Nainital – Almora:
Morning after breakfast, drive to Almora which is known for its beautiful climate. Almora is the cultural centre of Kumaon and a picturesque mountain resort. While it is bordered by the gentle hills of Kumaon on three sides, its northern front affords a breathtaking view of the Trishul peaks. The view of the sunrise is a beautiful from this point. On reaching Almora check in hotel and later on move out for the local tour. Visit the Nanda Devi temple, the deer park, the museum, Jageshwar temple dedicated to lord Shiva, etc. Late in the evening return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 05 Almora – Ranikhet:
Morning after breakfast, drive to Ranikhet also called as ‘The Queen Fields’. Ranikhet is located at an altitude of 1,800 mts, and is surrounded by the giant pine and oak trees. The cool climate, serene environs, glistening snow capped mountains attracts the tourists from all over the globe. It is an ideal holiday for nature lovers, and its main attractions, apart from its natural beauty are a golf course, the orchards of Chaubatia and the Jhoola Devi Temple. On reaching Ranikhet check in hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 06 Ranikhet:
Morning after breakfast, drive out for the local tour of the city. Visit the Kalaika Temple, the plateau of Upat – the golf course, the Shiva Temple at Chillinaula, Tarikhet known for the Gandhi Ashram, Majkhali and Chaubatia from where one can get the beautiful view of the Himalayas, etc. Later on return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 07 Ranikhet – Corbett:
Morning after breakfast, drive to Corbett National Park. It is the first natural park which is cradled in the foothills of Himalayas and spreads over an area of 520 sq kms. This national park is named after the famous hunter, author, conservationist and naturalist Jim Corbett who spent a major part of his life in the Kumaon region. On reaching Corbett check in hotel and later on move out for the jungle safari to get the view of the tigers, lepord, elephant, bear, hog, sambar deer, fish eating gharial, mugger, long snouted and a large number of species of water birds. Late in the evening return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 08 Corbett – Mussoorie:
Morning after breakfast, enjoy the drive to Mussoorie which is one of the famous hill stations in Uttaranchal. It spreads along a horse-shaped ridge overlooking the Doon Valley to the South. Mussoorie offers beautiful view of both the Himalayan ranges and the Shivalik and plains to the south. It promises varied entertainment throughout the year to all its visitors. Much of the old world charm of this place is retained here. On reaching Mussoorie check in hotel and relax for the rest of the day.

Day 09 Mussoorie:
Morning after breakfast, drive out for the local tour of Mussoorie. Visit the famous tourist destinations like the Mussoorie lake, the George Everest House, Camel’s Back Road, Bhadraj Temple, Nag Devta Temple, etc. Late in the evening return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 10 Mussoorie – Delhi:
Morning after breakfast, drive to Delhi on arrival drop at Delhi  airport/railway station to proceed towards your onwards destination.
